Why us

Depth that earns the credit, for whoever needs it.

NRF-rated researchers, Professional Engineers, and practising scientists delivering current-knowledge CPD across civil and environmental engineering — built for South Africa's real infrastructure challenges.

The landscape

Built around the people in the room.

Practising Engineers

Credits with Real Depth

ECSA Category 1 points on technical topics that go past compliance — current methods you can defend and reuse.

Teams & utilities

Relevant to the work in front of you

Courses tied to the infrastructure and water problems your teams face, deliverable on site and ready for procurement.

Academic–industry

Who leads it

Dr Justin Pringle

Senior Lecturer in Hydraulics and Environmental Fluid Mechanics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and a registered professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa and NRF rated researcher. More than ten years of academic and industry experience in civil engineering, with a focus on hydraulic and coastal work.

He has managed hydraulic engineering projects for the eThekwini Municipality and now leads UKZN's environmental fluid mechanics research group, supervising doctoral and master's research in coastal water quality, river connectivity, stratified mixing and ocean energy. His skills run from advanced numerical modelling to planning and managing field campaigns for hydraulic data.

What stands behind every workshop

Credible on paper, useful in practice.

01

ECSA Category 1 validation

A validation number on every workshop, certificate and handout — ready for an ECSA audit.

02

Registered through a Licensed Body

Verified as a CPD provider via IMESA.

03

Named, registered presenters

Pr Eng registration, NRF rating and published research — credibility you can check.

04

Credits stated up front

CPD points and notional hours shown per course, so you know the value before you book.

05

Materials you keep

Worked methods, data and references that stay useful long after the room empties.

06

Hands-on research infrastructure

Workshops run inside UKZN's engineering labs — the same facilities used for funded research.
